Steve Mahaney, retired Director, HHS Logistics Policy and Special Projects has over 35 years of experience in developing and directing government logistics programs (personal property, supply, transportation and fleet and travel and acquisition/e-commerce to support business segments. Mr. Mahaney has led Federal and HHS teams for the development of organizational improvement, operating plans, management information systems, policies and standards and in building client relationships as well as vendor and partner management.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mahaney has demonstrated expertise in leading large scale, executive sponsored programs from strategic planning to implementation and delivery. He has also successfully designed marketing campaigns, customer communication programs and internal incentives to promote logistical business consolidation, customer satisfaction, retention and growth. Mr. Mahaney received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from American University.
